Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Hot Sauce (optional)
Prepare the Hash Brown Patties
OVEN: Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread desired quantity of frozen patties evenly across on 11″ x 17″ baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Bake according to the chart below; turning patties over halfway through the baking time. 10 Patties: 24-27 minutes; 5 Patties: 18-21 minutes
AIR FRYER: Preheat air fryer to 390°F. Fill air fryer basket in a single layer of frozen patties. Cook for 10-12 minutes; flip patties halfway through cooking time.
STOVETOP SKILLET: Preheat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a 12″ non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Spread frozen patties across cooking surface in a single layer. Cook for 5 minutes, turn patties over, and cook an additional 5 minutes.
While the patties cook, heat a skillet over medium heat. Fry sausage patties until browned and cooked through. In the same skillet, cook eggs to your preferred style (fried or scrambled both work). Add cheese slices on top of the sausage patties just before removing from the pan so they melt.
To assemble, layer a hash brown patty, sausage with melted cheese, and egg. Top with freshly ground black pepper and a splash of hot sauce. Cap with another hash brown patty and enjoy warm.
