When it’s time to celebrate, only the fanciest, most delicious form of cheese fries will do. That’s exactly when we break out the tiny forks, dust off the fondue pot and reach for the Grown in Idaho® Crinkle Cut Fries.
1 Bag Grown in Idaho® Super Crispy Crinkle Cut Fries
1 C Dry White Wine
2 T All-Purpose Flour or Cornstarch
1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
1/2 lb Swiss Cheese, shredded
1/2 lb Gruyere Cheese, shredded
1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Place fries on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cook according to the package directions.
As crinkle fries cook (roughly 20–26 mins), begin preparing your cheese fondue. Start by bringing dry white wine to a simmer over medium-low heat.
Stir in flour and nutmeg until combined.
Add shredded cheese in four parts—1/4 lb at a time, mixing until smooth and fully combined before adding more.
Season to taste with salt. Serve immediately alongside freshly cooked Crinkle Cut Fries.
