And those deep crinkles are perfectly designed to make off with every last drop of that boozy, cheesy payload.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Grown in Idaho® Super Crispy Crinkle Cut Fries, 28 oz

  • 1/2 c cream cheese

  • 1/2 c sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 3 oz heavy cream

  • 1/2 c beer of choice

  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 4 scallions, sliced

  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce of choice

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg, ground

  • 2 tbsp bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 1/2 tsp flour and 1/2 tsp butter, melted, mixed together

  • 2-4 tbsp water, as needed

Instructions

Directions

  1. Prepare the fries according to package instructions.

AIR FRYER: Fill basket with half the frozen potatoes. Slide out basket halfway through cooking time and shake.

OVEN: Arrange frozen potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until crispy. Stir halfway through cooking time to ensure even baking.

  2. Put remaining ingredients, including the butter and flour mixture, into a large pot. Place on the stove over medium high heat. Constantly whisk for about 5 minutes until ingredients combine and the cheeses are melted and bubbling.

  3. Add small amount of kosher salt and water as needed for flavor and consistency.

  4. Drizzle gooey cheese sauce over fries just pulled out of the oven or fryer. Serve and enjoy.
