41 minutes
Serves 13 Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bag (12 oz) Grown in Idaho® Super Crispy Waffle Fries

  • 4 slices thick cut bacon

  • 11/4 lb ground sirloin

  • 2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 c blue cheese dressing or blue cheese crumbles

  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced

  • Toothpicks (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat skillet and cook bacon according to package instructions, or until crispy and browned. Transfer cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. When cool enough to touch, break into small 2” pieces.

  2. Prepare the fries according to package instructions.

AIR FRYER: Fill basket with half the frozen potatoes. Slide out basket halfway through cooking time and shake.

OVEN: Arrange frozen potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until crispy. Stir halfway through cooking time to ensure even baking.

  3. Halfway through fry baking, divide ground ground beef into 1 1/2-ounce patties (should yield ~13 sliders). Season generously on both sides with kosher salt and black pepper.

  4. Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, cook burgers for 3 minutes, then flip. Cook an additional 3 minutes for medium-rare, or until an internal temperature of 160°F is reached. Place each burger on a large cooked waffle fry, then top with a piece of cooked bacon and a heaping spoonful of blue cheese dressing or crumbles. Place another large waffle fry on top, then secure with a toothpick, if desired. Sprinkle scallions over sliders, then serve immediately.
