½ C Sharp White Cheddar Cheese, shredded

3 oz Heavy Cream

½ C Beer of choice
-
¼ tsp Ground Black Pepper

½ tsp Kosher Salt

4 Scallions, sliced

¼ tsp Hot Sauce of choice

¼ tsp Nutmeg, ground

2 T Bacon, cooked and crumbled

½ tsp Flour and ½ tsp Butter, melted, mixed together

2-4 T Water, as needed

A quintessential Canadian favorite. Grown In Idaho® Super Crispy Crinkle Cut Fries are drizzled with ooey gooey cheese sauce, flavored with your favorite brew.
Instructions

OVEN: Preheat oven to 425°F.
Arrange frozen potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 25-30 minutes or until crispy. Stir halfway through cooking time to ensure even baking.AIR FRYER: Preheat air fryer to 360°F.
Fill basket with half the frozen potatoes. Cook 12-14 minutes. Slide out basket halfway through cooking time and shake. -
Put remaining ingredients, including the butter and flour mixture, into a large pot. Place on the stove over medium high heat. Constantly whisk for about 5 minutes until ingredients combine and the cheeses are melted and bubbling.

Add small amount of kosher salt and water as needed for flavor and consistency.

Drizzle gooey cheese sauce over fries just pulled out of the oven or fryer. Serve and enjoy.
