Bacon & Caramelized Onion Fry Sauce

2 T of Vegetable Oil
1 Yellow Onion, finely chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 T Distilled White Vinegar
1 tsp. Yellow Mustard
¼ C Ketchup
3 T Sweet Pickle Relish
⅔ C Mayonnaise
½ lb. Bacon, cooked
This easy and delicious Bacon & Caramelized Onion Fry Sauce is what fry board dreams are made of! Cook this up quickly, and add your favorite variety of Grown In Idaho Fries to complete the look.
Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat. When oil is shimmering, add in onions and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the onions become soft (about 10 minutes).
Cover the pan to cook, occasionally stirring onions until they become golden brown.
In a separate bowl, stir in vinegar, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise and relish to create the sauce. Add in cooked onions, stir again.
Transfer to a dipping bowl and top with cooked bacon.
Serve with a variety of your favorite Grown In Idaho fries, prepared according to bag instructions on a serving board with dipping sauce in the middle and get dipping!
